A senior police official confirmed that his team was looking for Sana. They searched for her at her Oshiwara residence but she was not present there.
According to the complaint the minor girl met Sana's cousin Naved
through Facebook in November last year. They began hanging out together with some group of mutual friends. It was all going well for the couple till Naved proposed the girl for marriage. The girl rejected the proposed but Naved did not give up and kept pursuing her.
One day as the girl was returning from her tuition classes the accused tried to drag her into their car. However the girl managed to run away. Reportedly Sana argued with the girl's mother and threatened to teach her a lesson.
Sana's spokesman has denied all these reports. He says," How can Sana Kidnap anybody? Yes an FIR has been lodged against her but that's because she was wrongly accused of forcing a minor girl to marry an 18 year old boy".
Sana has been in controversy in the past too.In year 2007 Sana's TV commercial for Men's underwear brand was banned by Indian Government on the grounds of obscenity. However she featured in same brand's new commercial in 2008 which was released on TV.
Interestingly Sana is the leading lady in Salman Khan's upcoming movie Mental. According to a source close to the film," The team has no information about Sana going underground. Our next shoot is scheduled early next week in Lavasa. If what you are telling me is true, then we are in big trouble."
