According to a source the action scene involved Akshay and a Truck.The driver of the truck mistimed the shot as the wheel of the truck ran over Akshay's foot. The Khiladi actor couldn't move away in time added the source.
Akshay was reportedly rushed to Kokilaben Hospital where the actor was given primary treatment and then allowed to go home.
The Producer of the film Vipul Shah confirmed the news but denied any serious injury occurring to the actor.He clarified, " Akshay is better now. I was with him when he was at the hospital. Doctors will review his leg in two days and then only we will know how fast he is recovering".
