Sunny Leone faces protest by villagers over her visit for Navratri celebration

Indo-Canadian actress Sunny Leone had to cancel her visit to a village for the Navratri festival as the villagers did not approve the idea of an adult star being a part of the celebrations.

The actress was invited as a guest by the organizers of Navratri Mahotsav to be a part of the nine day long celebrations.Posters and hoardings were put up to announce her visit to the village.


As soon as the news of Leone's arrival spread, people started protesting against her visit. Her posters were painted black and the organizers received threatening calls asking them to cancel her visit.

Following this the organizers had to back off and they conveyed their problem to Sunny Leone and asked her to cancel her visit to avoid any controversy.

Reportedly the organizers have approached Karishma Kapoor and Genelia D'souza Deshmukh to be a part of the celebrations
