Asha Bhosle's daughter commits suicide

Varsha Bhosle , daughter of Legendary Bollywood Singer Asha Bhosle, reportedly committed suicide at her residence. She shot herself in the head with her licensed weapon.



According to TV reports Asha Bhosle was in Singapore at the the time of incident. She flew back immediately as soon as she got the sad news.

Varsha reportedly escaped a suicide attempt four years ago when she was admitted in Hospital for Drug Overdose in 2008.

Varsha worked as freelance journalist and also as a playback singer in a couple of Hindi and Marathi Films.
She was married to freelance sportswriter Hemant Kenkre and separated soon after.

The Bollywood industry is in a state of shock after this incident
